Understanding the Importance of Performance Appraisal

Participants will be made to understand the importance of the Appraisal process by using their Company's appraisal document.

10:30am - 10:45am

Tea Break

How Do You Conduct an Appraisal

Participants will learn the preparatory steps before their conduct and appraisal and the do's and don'ts.

11:30am - 1:00pm

Exercise and Role Play

The challenges when conducting an appraisal - hands-on practice sessions.

2:00pm - 3:30pm

Using a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)

Participants will learn how to create the relevant documentation to implement a Performance Improvement Plan.

Using the Progressive Discipline Procedure (PDP)

Participants will learn the strategies on how to use the Progressive Discipline Memo as a means of addressing disciplinary & behavioural issues in the work place.
